What a project this turned out to be!
The arena sand had been planted with grass, to control dust. We had to take it out, remove stones, sticks, and other debris, and cut down a few junipers.
The panels proved to be difficult to deliver during a snow storm, so we trekked them from the main road to our horse area. We measured and pounded the stakes into place and then secured the 115 pound panels.
The result is beautiful. Full size barrel racing arena, warm-up area, and round pin.
